had a splendid day at La Ferté yesterday 🙂
weather was OK, just some high grey clouds, but temperature was just good with a lot of sun 😀
as always this edition was also a overview of the history of flight ; from the early day’s to the present.
the stars of this edition where the Curtis Hawk 75 and the M 109 (think it’s a G-6)
the day passed by like a train 😉 in a very relaxed atmosphere ( typical for La Ferté 😉 ) here are some of the pictures i took :
can’t wait to go back next year 😀

Using the visible French reg on the rear fuselage gives:

The ‘109G-6 (D-FMBB) is an ex-Hispano airframe, owned by the Messerschmitt Foundation.

Great photos, looks like a good day….Two questions…..Whose BF-109 is that and where did it come from, and basically the same questions about what APPEARS to be an F4U-7 Corsair, although checking the tail numbers this would APPEAR to be the one from the USS Alabama memorial that just got trashed in the Hurricanes of last season….she looks like she has new paint, so maybe she’s painted up to APPEAR as that particular bird….could she in fact be Blain Fowler’s old ‘Alberta Blue’ or am I missing something here?
