La Ferté Alais Runway Length?

And it usually rained at some time over the two days, making the ground pretty soft (and muddy)!!…..

I lived about 5 miles south of La Ferte, in Boutigny, for about 14 years. The airfield is privately owned, and its (grass) runway is notified as being 1000m x 90m. The B17 which was displayed during the Pentecot meetings usually flew in from Orly, and did not land. As Cerny is only a grass strip, I’m sure a Fortress is just a touche too big (and heavy) to operate from there.

Curious to know the length of La Ferté Alais? I keep hearing that a B-17 can not operate out of La Ferté Alais and find this surprising.
