La Ferte Alais airshow 19 & 20-05-2018 Saturday and Sunday

his time I did not go with anyone else but I did meet a friend at the show which is convenient as we can look after each others bags whilst the other looks at the static.

There was no Friday in to Saturday midnight crossing across the sea and outside the gates of the airfield at 07.15 French time this year Instead, I went over Friday morning and took a leisurely drive down the A1 to Paris before resetting my navigator to Meaux- Esbly then resetting it again for Guigness then when within 7 miles of that town resetting again for the hotel address in Evry, all or the purpose of avoiding the Paris ring road. On the way home, the route was clear.

Despite two nights at a hotel, when I left the show on Sunday, I still succumbed in the early hours of Sunday morning to taking a nap at Clacket Lane services on the M25. I did not get home until 6 am.

There is an air show at Meaux- Esbly on 24/06/2018 but as I am working Monday, that show will be a miss.
