Who is coming to La Ferte Alais this weekend? I am planning to go there saturday. Haven’t been there for 10 years. BW Roger

Can I just say that I hate anyone who is going to La Ferte because I should be there and can’t make it this year. I should be playing around with the Memorial Flight aeroplanes as usual but my aeroplane is taking too much time and money.
I will be over before too long but shall miss the show and all five Mem Flight aeroplanes should fly.
Curses.
Have fun those who are going.

PS Just seen the forecast, bad weather on Sunday. At La Ferte? how unusual!

Well, I am leaving for LFA now. Doubt if we recognise eachother, but let’s give it a try. BW Roger

Yep
there have been more exciting gatherings at LFA than this year…
Also the F8F-2 Bearcat (F-AZRJ) and one P-51D (F-AZJJ) will not be coming as they are currently up for sale (US$ 1.85 and US$ 1.3 million respectively !)
Anyway – this beauty will show up (taken last year at Air Poche One, France, 19th July 2003)
😡 the attachment wont work 😡

Looks like there is no Securite Civile Tracker or Canadair either, nor is there the Noratlas. That’s a pity. BW Roger
That is a bit sad to see indeed. But it still looks like a nice program.
Cool pics swiss mustangs! 😎 Does AEDS have a homepage?
Thanks

I just found out that D-FFMB would have been ready for the ILA, but the MBB people didn’t allow it to go due to questionable weather.
Here’s a link to some shots taken during a test-flight on 27th April (link copied from LBB board)

Now, that doesn’t sound very promessing. Thanks for the info swiss mustangs. If anyone should know more, the info is always welcome.

Nope – the Me-109G didn’t make it to ILA due to some teething problems; it had performed a number of test-flights prior to the show but eventually stayed home….

Nice program, but where is the Me109 that should have been in the list. I can’t find it. Did the Me-109G-6 D-FMBB from AEDS appear at ILA Berlin or not? It was on the airshows program, but I haven’t seen any pic from it attending the show. Is it grounded maybe?

I’ll be there on saturday only. I’ve never been there before. I need to look for the beertent and a person who has some overweight. Will there be something else to see? :p

Well, try to be there. If you see somebody bearded, overweight with a yellow polo, carrying this, its me. Bw Roger

Is there only one beertent on the field? Thought it was filled with those, at least in the old days. BW Roger
