My first trip to Mildenhall since the 1998 air fete, I found the place at the end of the runway and spent an hour or so in the sunshine taking a few photographs. Stopped briefly at Lakenheath on the way there but the sun was in the wrong spot from the viewing area.

Lakenheath was quiet, but I for the fourty five minutes I was there, we saw about 10 F-15 arrivals, but the sun was in the wrong place for photos so we went to Mildenhall instead.
Mildenahll wasn’t as busy as I had hoped, but for the hour or so I was there there was enough to keep me occupied!! One KC-135 in the circuit, two KC-135 arrivals, C-130 departure and the two F-15 arrivals from memory!
