So I went to Duxford this morning to get some record shots of the Mk XVIII Spitfire as it’s being de-constructed prior to being containerised next week. Got talking to Martyn at the P-47 and the next thing I know I’m in a field at Lakenheath doing fast jets. We had a quick spin out to Mildenhall to catch the NATO/OTAN 707 and then back to Lakenheath. Had packed away my Tamron for the winter so had to use my Sony 75-300mm so a bit limited in choice of angles. They are in the order the were taken and unfortunately too much cloud for decent sunset shots.
We left about 4.20 as it was getting too dark to photograph and was cold.
Many, many thanks to Martyn for a very enjoyable afternoon and for the chauffeuring.
