How many airshows does the RAF host these days ? You’d have thought that the Lancaster would be a must, not at Cosford. Why no Lancaster anyone !!!!!????

On Sunday, the Lancaster is returning to Conningsby from Biggin Hill with a Flypast over Hendon for D-Day commemorations there.

Purely speculation,it could be an ‘hours’ thing what with the busy period later in the year when the Canadian Lanc visits.
There are some training sorties scheduled with the other Lancaster.

……and as the BBMF Dakota is at Cosford, D-Day anniversary, this would seem to be appropriate.

It’s just a guess, but could it be because of D-Day commemorations that weekend? Perhaps she’s over in France on the Sunday?
