It’s a pity a bit of low flying cannot be incorporated into displays.
I can’t remember of any accident at a display that was attributed to low flying.
I bet the commentators would still talk all the way over the flypast 🙁

Orion, they have strict guidelines to adhere to and they are well within their safety parrameters. Remember, this was a special one off for a sound recording…

That Canadian Lancaster is being flown too low, far too low for safety.

Fantastic! Reminds me of being at my Grandad’s having tea one summer a few years ago when he suddenly jumped up and ran outside at the sound of engines approaching, it was The BBMF Lanc followed by the Spit and Hurri. It was great to see him dancing up and down with a massive grin on his face as they went right over the house!! 😀

What a lovely sound.
It reminded me that I have an LP in my record collection, narrated by Douglas Bader.
It came out at the 50th Anniversary of the RAF, and has the sounds of a variety of RAF aircraft.
From a WWI aircraft, up to the Lightning

Thanks for adding the second video too – great to see the clean low passes and then a banking turn also at low level to allow photographers to get a good shot – quite open country regions on both videos. Lovely sound.

Totaly agree and what’s more in a crisp clear sky it looked even better as it flew away … good low pass to something we wont see in the UK by the BBMF Lancaster
Agreed. This BBMF is about the lowest I have seen:
