That’s incredible, Mark!
I really hope there’s a forward fuselage out there somewhere. There’s something brilliant about the stretched, unusual GR 31!

A section of GR31 centre fuselage survived in the Syd Beck collection but was sold off to someone in the UK in recent years and I am not sure where it has ended up or what its purpose for acquisition was?

I’m wondering if there are any surviving parts of the RAAF GR Mk 31s?
As far as I know, there aren’t any complete airframes, but would be fantastic if there was at least something around from these unique aircraft.

Thanks Mark thats brilliant .

What brought this question into my mind was a picture i saw some time ago a pile of Lincoln cockpits all piled on top of one another !

I just thought has nobody saved any at all ?

A73-27, a GAF Lincoln Mk 30 is in the Camden Aviation Museum in Australia, and we brought the cockpit of KB994 down under too as part of the acquisition of Avro Lincoln RF342 from the UK.
