I don’t know if this has been mentioned here before, but take a look at the excellent Lancaster cockpit replica on this site:
http://website.lineone.net/~norman.groom/
It is situated at the Pitstone Museum (I assume that’s in England) and it says it has working radar and navigation equipment, and even simulated sound for the four Merlins.
It looks brilliant. Has anyone here visited and experienced this cockpit experience?

Wouldn’t there be a safety hazard operating the radar equipment right on the ground in the middle of the museum? Or is it just modern radar equipment that gives off harmful rays?

Pitstone Museum appears to be in Buckinghamshire.

That would be Norman Grooms excellent cockpit replica. He has done an amazing job and with working radar and merlin engine sound that is the icing on the proverbial cake!
