Lancaster Bomber relic ID help??

Initially thought as being a fuel or oil filler cap but this appears to be some sort of adjustment wheel or knob.. .any ideas??

I think it is bigger than that Spark plug.. Definitely looks like some type of locking or adjustment handle?

Is it one of the large knobs from an H2S or Loran set?
