I don’t know if this is a new book . It’s called ‘The Lancaster Manual’ it contains instructions for air and ground crews, electrical and radio equipement, airframe design and armament. These are all reprints of official Air Ministry publications. Its published through the RAF Museum by Greenhill at £25. Anyone seen it? Sound very interesting. Lancman? 🙂

Wonder if they’ve got any plans to re-publish “The Mosquito Manual” too? Seems a shame not to complete the series.

Yes, I noticed a while back that they’d reprinted this, after I’d sought one out second hand!!! Books for real nuts and bolts enthusiasts only, but very, very good nonetheless. Also includes the pilots notes, saving you from buying that too if you so wish.
