Lancaster Ground run

Almost there!

Hats of to the engineering team that were able to solve the problem of the missing oil line fitting from our engine. After having one specialy built and shipped from the U.K only to find out that it didnt fit was a bit frustrating indeed! However plan B was put in place and a fitting was made up and fitted in it’s place. All the systems are now complete on our engine and the biggest hold up now is waiting for our propellor which should arrive very soon!
Won’t be long before the Worlds population of airworthy and taxiable Lancs will be four… 😉

Well done, a taxiable bomber is much better than a static one.

Cheers

Probably means the BBMF and flying Canadian one? After all, they are ground runnable – they just fly as well!

Hello Mike.
Yes a taxiable Lanc in Canada is our ultimate goal. I was including the two airworthy Lancs in that number. I have changed the original post to state this.
