While I have some time on my hands I though I would do some modelling and I want to make a model of Lanc NX739 as used by Eagle in the 50’s at Blackbushe. At some point (guessing around 1956?) the aircraft had it’s H2S radar removed, was this an easy thing to do? Having written two books on Blackbushe I have seen many photos of NX739 but just noticed that they do not all have the H2S. Did PA474 have H2S fitted only to be removed when it was reassigned to the PR role? Obviously NX611 kept hers.

Just a thought, but might it be worth contacting the BBMF? – the guys there are usually pretty helpful.
