Is there anyone who can tell me exactly where Lancaster LL832 crashed. It was shot down near Rubenach, in the Rhine valley, in the early hours of 31 March 1944 on its way to bomb Nuremburg.
My gran’s cousin Roy Butterworth was the bomb aimer on board, he and the rest of the crew were killed in the crash.
Any help greatly appreciated.
