Heres an initial selection from todays action at Eastbourne. Although the rain held off the wind was a big factor at Eastbourne, despite this very few displays were lost. Thanks to the to all those pilots who braved the very marginal conditions.
More to follow tomorrow.
(NB. No slow shutter speeds today, could only just about keep the subject in the frame.)

It looked like it was a bumpy ride you missed Norman. 🙂

Hi Stormin,
I hadn’t realised about the photo section, I’ll send some over.
Were you on board the Lanc on sunday.

Have you thought about sending some of those pictures to the BBMF website. We now have a enthusiasts picture section on the site. Also I’m sure some would be good for the Brochure next year.

Thanks everyone for all the kind comments 🙂
Having Redhill on my door step made the trip to Eastbourne rather risky given the weather forecast, but capturing PA474 just above the whitecaps made it all worthwhile.
A final selection of under Beachy shots. Thanks Moggy 😀

SEMAE,
Watched from the seafront, yesterday. It was windy there too, but it was interesting to see that the winds affected the low level stuff very markedly, but smoke trials left by Reds during loops etc were barely affected and hung around for longer than usual – suggesting winds were only bad at very low level….. Will post some of my photos once I’ve had chance to download them (if they’re any good).
Trust you were securely anchored down on top of Beachy Head – it gets pretty wild up there!

Top stuff.
Will be there next year! The weather put me off this time. After Farnborough I’m not taking too many risks anymore! 😀
