"Lancaster" over Long Eaton today?

Hi All,

Does anyone know what aircraft flew over my home town, Long Eaton, at about 18:30 today (Sunday)?

It sounded rather like the BBMF Lancaster… I couldn’t see owt through the overcast!

Thanks.

Ahhhh now that would explain why she wasn’t put in the hanger, we left just after 5 and she was still outside, we did wonder if she was off out again.

Well it wasn’t the BBMF Lancaster as she landed back at Coningsby at 16:45, at least thats what my camera says 😀 lol so I don’t know what it was 🙂 sorry. (Wasn’t the Dakota either as she landed just behind the Lanc lol)
