Great Pictures, I never made it to Waddo, too much uni work, so it’ s great to see these. Amazing this forum, it takes off from Waddo in the morning and then by evening we have pictures of the Lanc from another country.

The A330 probably didn’t turn up because it’s Nav systems were US and the crew couldn’t find Manchester, so much for modern technology.

Anyway it would have ruined those photographs

Off to Holland…

Were I was waiting, came to my hometown for a flypast of the Lancaster Memorial.

Right on time she appeared:

Then she went on to land at the local airport, but was parked with her rear to the terrace. Which was full of people, so I didn’t stay long.

She was low level over Nottingham City centre at about 13.15 today.

Cheered up what had been hitherto a pretty bad day 🙂

Well, if you didn’t see it, you missed it.

The Airbus appparently didn’t turn up, so the Lanc did a few passes on her own.

😀 😀 😀
