The RAF Lanc has has a successful flight today, the first of 2022. Hopefully we will see more of it this year, as it appeared just a few times last year, emerging from its maitenance at ARC at the very end of the display season.
It is scheduled to display at Old Warden this Sunday, which is looking like a pretty good line up !

The Lancaster practically flew over my house on Sunday; must have been en route to Old Warden from Poddington (Santa Pod)?
I was outside and heard it (I knew exactly what it was) before I saw it; managed to get a couple of (terrible) photographs on my mobile phone but the whole experience left me quite giddy with excitement…
…or maybe that’s just the after-effects of Covid?
