I thought the parts shown in the photos were Lancaster parts but now I’m not sure. The first is a trim wheel made od Bakelite aeroplastic and is stamped AS101. The diameter is 8 inches whereas I thought Lancaster ones were 10 inches. Is it an early MK Lancaster or something fitted to Mossies or something else
The second item I believed was part os the DF Loop system on a Lancaster. Specifically part of the DF mechanical drive. It has the numbers RMP48274 on the back or is the remote tuner from a Seafire ?
Any ideas out there ?

The Lancaster trim wheel is indeed the twenty rib A.S.102 type (Black or brown Bakelite.)
The only other aircraft fitted with this type were the Hawker Typhoon/Tempest/Sea Fury… (As far as we can ascertain.)
This one is from our Hawker Typhoon 1B cockpit project.

Yes, I think the Lancaster ones should have 20 ribs not 16 (AS102).
The 16 rib AS101 ones are Meteor? and probably others as well.
(I’ve got a 6 inch wheel with a notch which I think is Jet Provost – they are quite common.)
The Lancaster DF is not a remote control but a dirty great wheel on the bottom of the antenna.

The ‘coffee grinder’ remote tuner looks to me to be the type used with the R1147 receiver, not the Lancaster DF loop. So Fleet Air Arm, with the Seafire as a candidate.
