I was very keen to check out the big hilll at the end of Lanzarote’s Runway so we went there about midday when the sun was too high for photos from the Beach side, it doesn’t get far enough around until about 3-30pm for the afternoon spot so time to explore it.
Here are some shots from the hill and as you would expect heat haze is a problem looking down the Runway and that can also be seen in the ones from higher up, also the sun was slightly in front so not great light conditions.
Best time to take photos from here would be first thing in the morning or early evening to get the best conditions. Most of these are 400mm shots on my Canon D60.

Theres a great view also from the beach in a resort called Don Paco (with a zoom camera) i believe, they do some mad turns onto the final approach!
