I’m taking myself off for a bit of a photo/sun trip to Lanzarote at the start of Feb. Can anyone recommend a hotel or apartments near the beach where the arrivals come in low overhead ?
And are any of you chaps out there in the travel business willing to tout for my business ??:D
My budget is about £500 for flights and accomodation, preferably from GLA.

A great place to spot and take photo’s i got to say is on the other side of Africa in the Med at Larnaca beach in Cyprus. It cost about the same to get there and the carriers are more varied. I don’t know if you have been there before but I would defo add this to the list.

Ah so it looks like the Tenerfie airports are much further inland than Lanzarote. Lanzarote is very easy for spotting as it is really accessible from the beach itself. Moondance, I still haven’t found the answer yet, which airline do you fly for?! Thanks:D

Yes I did see that article, but I don’t think it said all that much about spotting and photography. I may be wrong, I’ve read too many other things since then:D I’m sure you’ll have an excellent time anyway, and get loads of nice photos for us to gawp at!

When do you go Ren? I’m not sure if or where you can spot at Tenerife. You shoulda tried Majorca or somewhere else like that, because I think you can get good spotting views there on the beaches, and it is quite busy.

Well I couldn’t find a deal to suit me in Lanzarote at the right time, place and price.:( I’m off to Tenerife instead for a week with Fly Globespan from GLA-TFS. I’m expecting it to be TF-ELC the 737-300 they have in use at GLA just now. Trip report to follow…:D
