Hi guys,
I have seen most of these aircraft fly and they really are spectacular.
The B17’s look very good in the air alond with the wellington which is one of my favourites. There is a Heinkel 111 doing the rounds and a JU52 I think was at last years Longhorsley LMA show (near newcastle if anyone is interested).
And for those of you who are into jets check out the featured aircraft of Dr Keith Mitchell. A hunter which is very large as a model. Look really really good. Dont think it has flown as of yet but is intended to fly soon I think. Anyhow it a really nice model.

In that case it would have been rather difficult to separate the wings from the fuselage when it came to transit.
It was! We only managed to get it home the first time because it had been broken in half!!

Good question – I think it was a kit! Complete-a-Pac springs to mind.
By: Spitfire Pilot - 2nd December 2005 at 15:45
Was it a kit????? Or scratch built?

It could always be enlarged on a photocopier 🙂 Mark 😀 😀 😀
Hadn’t thought of that! 😉
I used to have a Mosquito with a 63″ wingspan – the damn thing was so big (and in one piece, too!) that it wouldn’t fit in the car whole!! 😮

I’m pretty sure I’ve still got the mag lying around – the Mosquito was a free plan, and wasn’t very big, but still looked like a lot of fun!
By: Spitfire Pilot - 2nd December 2005 at 13:48
That would be great!!!!!!! Thanks Daz 😉 Mark 🙂 🙂 🙂
By: DazDaMan - 2nd December 2005 at 13:20
I’m not sure how big it is – not very big, probably – but if you want it and I can find the mag, it’s yours!!!
