Hi guys have been asked to date and place a photo of Canadian Lanc FM104 that was taken in the UK. From google I have read that it visited in 1962 to attend some Battale of Britain shows but where? You can just make out a white Vulcan to the right. Anybody know where and when?

I think you’re right there Bob about the other photographer. Yes, it was indeed a sight AND there was a Lincoln there as well, apart from an RF-101C, Mossie RS712 and an RAF Anson, to name the other highlights. Then there were the three RCAF Bristol 170s at Langar on the way home!

I saw FM104 at Cottesmore BoB Show 15 Sept 1962. I don’t think she flew anywhere else but can’t be sure of that. Here are a couple of not very good photos I took that day. There was certainly at least one Vulcan on the ground, according to my notes.
Thanks for the very quick reply.Looks like the person taking my photo was about 100 yards to your right of you on your second photo! The backgrounds match up perfectly. Must have been quite a sight!
thanks
Rob
