So they want to keep the 2nd engine (more cost) and cut numbers purchased (increase the unit cost). As has been demonstrated time after time your average politician isn’t smart enough to see that the number produced impacts unit cost and when the detractors want to beat their chests they trot out the cost of the whole program divided by the numbers purchased and “oh my God the cost is getting out of control! Quick, cut the number we buy!” :rolleyes:
