I’ve got the latest figures for reported NATS airspace infringements – I haven’t been given any official brief on them yet, but there seems to be some good news from my own personal ‘inspection’ and interpretation (The graphs are on http://www.flyontrack.co.uk then click on the very top right tag ‘infringer stats’.)
The 2007 ‘reds’ (worst type) are probably the same as 2006 and 2005 when adjusted on a year basis, but the 2007 total which has ‘real impact’ (reds+blues) is noticeably down (when extrapolated to full year)….! SO far, an apparent improvement, obviously it would be good to reduce the reds but I hope more use of Mode C might help move some reds to blues!
I realise weather has been bad recently so less flying in the past month, but we had general poor weather throughout July 2004 – July 2006 too
