Apparently they have the mockup and the radar on display in the currently running Singapore aviation expo.
There is a display showing a Fiat Grifo S-7, maybe based on the Grifo-M (not to be confused with the Grifo-7 used on the F7PG.)
The PLAAF might be forced to bite the bullet and buy a hundred of these aircraft to lower its production costs. The PLAAF versions might be using radars from the Russian Phazotron instead of the Grifo.
