LAX spotting – In-N-Out Burger location

I’m planning a trip to LAX and Vegas in Oct this year. I’ve seen some reports of people being chucked out of the car park by police for taking photos of arrivals. Also the photos there look a bit underneath. Has anyone taken pictures from this vicinity and if so are there any areas you can stand so you can get the aircraft more side on ? This will make or break the trip for me as it’s no good flying all that way and getting told to move on after 5 mins. People mention Imperial Hill but that looks a little too distant to me. Any advice would be appreciated. Also I’m hoping Vegas will be ok for photos at least of landing shots.

I haven’t been recently but when I was there I found the police to be very aggressive towards the photographers.

I found the US immigration officials to be a bit grim as well.
Surely they don’t have to be that unfriendly.

I haven’t been recently but when I was there I found the police to be very aggressive towards the photographers. My worst experience at a civilian airport. On the other hand I found the LAX Public Relations people to be brilliant and I would suggest that you approach them.

Excellent info thanks. May give the burger joint a try then go to imperial hill where it’s supposed to be hassle free. LAX public relations will be getting an email ! Cheers.

Thanks but I’ve seen all these sites. I’ve done research. What I am asking is if anyone has been recently.
