Hi All,
Mr Spalding (WAC jr) ventured up north yesterday to have some shooting fun at my local and some drinking fun in Leeds. Much fun was had even though the language barrier proved something of a problem for Spalds (he doesn’t speak ‘northern’) but he managed to get by! 😀

After I left Adam at LBA this morning to catch his flight to Newquay, I had a wander to Liverpool with fellow forum member EGNM with a brief stop at LPL. The weather was very dull and wet but just for fun, here are two shots from there.
Spalds, again, thankyou for getting up here. I know it took a lot of messing around to get here but it really was great to see you at my local and to show you around my part of the world. You’re a total WAC but you’re also a total ledge. Cheers mate, The Muff next!

Chris, that spot is actually a little misleading in photos. Between where you stand and the airport perimeter fence is a dip with a road, it’s just that you’re above all that so it doesn’t show in photos meaning perfect views of departing aircraft!

Can you just casually walk to that spot? It looks as though you can just walk onto the runway should you feel so inclined!

Some really good shots here, love the TCX, didn’t realise that LS has painted a B733 with a slogan, looks good.
