Even if the camera isn’t the best, you still should be able to get in focus shots. Me thinks you just need to let it focus a tad longer :).
Also try keep your shutter speed as quick as possible. If you’re at full zoom try make sure you’re above something like 1/200th. What mode do you shoot in?

Agree with Grey that they seem out of focus some of them. When you’re photographing them, don’t press the button at the first go. Press it down half way, allow the camera to focus and get a clearer picture then hit the button.

Gray Area …. its due to my lens. Also the light was not good. I am now saveing up for a Cannon 305D!
I use a Fujifilm S602Zzoom, Not even a SLR, but it has done me in the past!

Hmmm….. to be 100% honest, these all seem to be out of focus to a greater or lesser degree.
What sort of camera are you using?
