09/27 was used for small general aviation – Cessnas, Pipers etc. If the wind was strong and in a westerly to southwesterly direction favouring 27 and making use of 32 particularly difficult, the runway would ocasionally be used by aircraft such as the Viscount, F27, Shorts 360, Atp, Saab 340 and the like. I have also seen it used by a Bae 146, but I am unaware that it has been used by Fokker 70/100 or any other jet aircraft.

Otley Chevin gives a reasonable view of aircraft on finals for 14, but it’s too far away for spotting aircraft on the ground.

Hope this helps.

I’m sure you’ve asked most of these questions before…

Never got any photos of aircraft on 09/27, it was generally the smaller aircraft that used it, the Multiflight a/c etc, the last aircraft to use it was an Air Atlantique DC-3.

Otley Chevin…. well you can see the aircraft when they are on 14 or 32, but it’s not really ideal for photos. You can’t see the airport from there, but if you sit outside at the Chevin Pub opposite you can.

I’ve no idea why Jet2 aren’t starting a route to Eastern Europe. I think they know better about which routes to start!

Yes you can book flights at the Jet2 desk AFAIK but why would you want to? Just do it online.

2) What aircrafts used 09/27?

It’s just aircraft, not aircrafts. Aircraft is used for both plural and singular terms.

eg, There is the aircraft of the Red Arrows. Not, There is the aircrafts of the Red Arrows.

Possibly the most useless thread title I’ve ever come across!

But never mind that. Try the new-ish http://lba.web-wings.co.uk/ for everything you could possibly want that is related to Leeds Bradford.
