LBA to LHR Winter Service

From the flybmi.com website it looks like there will be an additional late evening service weekdays and Sundays on the Winter Schedule

BD421 LBA dep 21:00-LHR arr 22:00
BD422 LHR dep 22:30-LBA arr 23:30

Given the timings and turnaround presume an EMB145 will be utilised. Can anyone confirm this. If it’s right then good news, but I think they would be better reinstating the BD415/416 flights, doubt many business travellers in either direction will want to hang around till that time of the evening.

London Heathrow, Paris CDG, Brussels, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

In recent years they started (and finished quite quickly) London City, and recently dropped Cork and Jersey. Cork has since been picked up by Aer Arann so it not to great a loss.

Cheers Tom 😎 I remember the LCY-LBA Route they used a colourful ATR 42.

Apparantly, this is just to hold the slots for the winter, before they use them for a different route next summer. Still, an extra flight a day is not bad news!

Either way its good news, and nice to see the fares coming down a bit on this route too, down to around the £50 return mark with tiny fares this winter.
