LEAVE PARENTS ALONE!!! (UK matters)

I am sooo fed up with political groups sticking their noses into family business in the UK.
The government has been approached to issue a ban on child smacking by parents…as it is seen as a prelude to physical child abuse!!!
What next??? Are they going to ban mothers and fathers kissing their children on the forehead when they leave for work or at the school gates because it could be seen as a prelude to SEXUAL ABUSE???
For Petes sake, this is getting out of hand!!!
When I was a kid my father would kick my ass if I was naughty…and now I thank him for it, I am a better person than some of these yahoos who roam the street today with NO idea of what discipline is and mug old people for their giros! It’s sick!
Parenting should be left to the people who know what they are doing…namely the PARENTS and not some bunch of pillocks who think they know best.
Yes, I know on some occasions parents can get out of hand and cause serious damage to a child…on some occasions even killing a child. However the majority of parents are sensible and restrained.
Hundreds of people are stabbed to death in the UK each year…does this mean we should ban the sale of the kitchen knife???
