Hello to all,
I’ve been to Leeuwarden (Netherlands) to witness a great airshow with nice demo’s and the Blue Angels.

Great shots! The Eagle banking right is a great shot but the one that takes the cup is the Mi-24. Fantastic shot!

The best performance of the day, easily beating the Blue Angels.
I hate to say this, but personally I though Fat Albert put on a more impressive display then the Blue Angels themselves!
I was very surprised that during the Blue Angels display a lot of passes where done over the public. Is this not banned in Europe? In fact, earlier that day a Spanish F18 had been given the red card, and according to the announcer would be punished by having to eat at the mess.

How long did you spend in the traffic jams?
Since we arrived their with our bus, we were very lucky.
We had to park our bus at the FEC.
We left at 18:40
No traffic jams at all

And on Friday, apart of the bitter cold and low clouds, Blue Angels’ #5 blew a tire on take off, and had to make a cable arrested landing.
By the way, does anyone have pictures of the landing ?
