. Also glad they captured some of the magic solo MH434 display by Ray Hanna on the saturday. He really give her some! It was a shame he didn’t perform it on the Sunday also, but i’m glad i got to see it first hand the day before. That display will stick with me forever… I was on the tank bank and witnessed the ‘arrival’ at near head height… hmmmmm….. groooowwwwwl!!! Superb, and a shame that it was probably his last season.
.
Is this Ray Hannas last season 🙁
I am transferring my home videos onto dvd and realise in the last 15 years just how things have changed, just done the old fighter meet at North Weald 1993,that was a good weekends displaying.
Are any of the Fighter Meets on dvd?
Just found this site ,may hel[p someone http://www.chart-busters.co.uk/pages/browseCat2.php?artClass=AIR&alphaN=A

Doing it as we speak!
That’s absolutely great news! I just can’t wait. 😀 😀 😀
Great work on this years Legends DVD by the way, i watched a little more today… just can’t get enough of it! I really like the title screens with the paint brushing effect – nice.

I got mine yesterday morning from play.com ordered on the monday. It’s another suberb production, hats off to DD and sconnor! If you liked last year’s production you’ll really enjoy this years one. I especially liked the in-cockpit minicam of Pete Kynsey in the F7F and the interviews of the pilots. Also glad they captured some of the magic solo MH434 display by Ray Hanna on the saturday. He really give her some! It was a shame he didn’t perform it on the Sunday also, but i’m glad i got to see it first hand the day before. Back to the DVD, i also enjoyed the snippet of 10 years of duxford, great footage of the mosquito and black 6. I do hope these early shows will be put on DVD.

I just got my copy of Legends 2005 today. For those interested in a low price it was £9.99 (including P+P) from www.bensonsworld.co.uk and took about 10 days from order online. 🙂

Ordered my copy on Amazon on Saturday and although they quoted 5-7 days delay, it arrived this morning (Tuesday) and that’s on the free delivery service.
I think I can tell what I’ll be watching later today !

I found the 2004 one to be monotonous personally. I loved the veteran interviews, that was superb, but the rest just seemed to be repetitive. Not the fault of the filmers or editors – that’s what we ask for, but for me it was just too much. i cannot sit through it all.
1998 was the best.

I hope this is a better production that the one presently being screened on Discovery Wings, the 2002 edition. The commentator has a voice to send you to sleep.
If it’s anything like the 2004 production it will be fantastic. Just ordered mine from Play.com £11.99 delievered. I see amazon has a 5-7 day wait for dispatch.
