Glad to see some photos of SX336 Seafire. I worked on this 10 years ago but had to move on before it was finished. When I return fron the US I must see her fly. Looks like a wonderful paint job too.

Cheers, FORTRESS 1

What a fantastic selection of pictures there! My personal favourates are the first two- of the Seafire, and the Seafire and MH434, and the Polikarpov I-15. Have always had a softspot of Polikarpov designs.

Many thanks

Good pair of hand’s? Any relation to a ‘digitaly’ enhanced engineer from the lincolnshire area?

That would be a LARGE pair of hands!!

Eric Gujion never fails to raise a smile.

On the way back home sunday he suffered total Hydraulic failure in the F4U-4 and had to blow the gear down before landing.

All safe and sound and testament to a good pair of hands.

What a man, great character and very popular with the DX crowds.

A final selection of images led by Eric, no excuse for tightening up the trio of Brisfits.

Nice photos Gary. Here’s another view of the slightly “scary” Corsair pilot. 😎

Alan Wade.

Hats off to him, it was hard work for him at the back fighting against all the prop wash.

Lovely pictures Septic.

Just one question.

Who flew EP120 during the Spit tailchase/duo with Lee Proudfoot in 434?

Cheers

Great stuff, Gary 🙂

I don’t think I’ll get to see either the Seafire or the Buchon fly this year 🙁

‘Lee’ is Lee Proudfoot, and yes, I believe he did fly MH434 all weekend.

Did Lee fly MH434 throughout Legends, if so he was superb, always that bit nearer to the crowd line than most of the other spitfires. And for all those fans of the Buchon…….

Thanks 92fis,

The Buchon is a personal favourite, far more practical than a DB engined 109.

Septic.

A favourite of mine too, Also good to see Lee Proudfoot flying MH434 at the weekend. I hope we get to see him flying it for many years to come as he really does fly it well.

Thanks Taylorman,

I’m sure many pilots keep a camera handy, although very few have such great camera ships.
