would be nice if it does. better not talk too much though, we might upset some people. i’ll crawl back into my hole now and never ever mention anything to do with legends again.

if glacier girl does fly over, it seems a wee bit risky for such an expensive peice of machinery. i was gonna say such an old bird, but i suppose most of the parts used were pretty new and refurbished when restoring it.:p

I think that the whole idea is to complete the delivery flight. It was on its way here when it crashed. Rather like the CAF sending the B-24 over in the 90’s. And dont forget it was done many times with many different types in the war so it is posible.
Personaly I am keeping everything crossed in the hope it happens!!!

Any P-40’s present?

Hopefully at least one. Nice looking machines. Of course, barring unforseen circumstances the P-36 should also put in an appearance.

If you’ve got a spare £20k.- £25k. burning a hole in your wallet, the nameplate for the former Southern Region’s Battle of Britain class locomotive ‘601 Squadron’ comes up for auction next month……

……just thought you might like to know that ….o.k., I’ll get me anorak and go….

The concept of involving a film company makes a lot of sense….release some £££ to fund it…..

It seems to be more than rumour about Glacier Girl. She is supposed to be routeing via Stornoway. Appropriate, as some of the first P-38s landed here in 1942.

The Utterly Butterly Stearman team appeared at Flying Legends in 1999, so not so much of a revelation is it?

As Moggy says, it’s their train set; if you don’t like the line up, then don’t go..

Duxford good today, Spitfire Tr9, Yellow Harvard, Spitfire Mk Vb, Cosmic Wind and HAC Nimrod all out on the line.
