As promised, some photos taken yesterday at Leicester aero club. A mixed bag, something for everyone(except jets).

Neal: Excellent shots! It took me back to my days at the L.A.C. in the late 60’s and 70’s when we had just the long runway (28/10) and just the triangle of grass in the middle. I seem to recollect that (Grass) 05/23 was only 350 Metres long.
Thanks!

My wife was judging at a horse jumping contest so I went to see some aeroplanes.
She didn’t say if anyone managed to jump over any horses though. 😀

Thanks for sharing those. I was at Baxterley on Saturday home of G-AOIR for a VAC member’s only fly-in. Gorgeous weather…
Did you manage to have a look at the interior of the Zlin. Fantastic. They flew in to a VAC do at TW a while back and it was better than new. It had been off to ZLin specialists who operate next door to the current factory and most of who used to work for the company.
Nice to see the Taylorcraft is still flying after Maurice’s death. Wondereed what had happened to it.
