NOSE ART A-2’s Lets see yours !
One of my alltime favorites A-2’s from the Triangle S men from the 40st BG ( H) Eighth Army Air Forces ……………… BlueNoser a few years ago with Dan Knight 401st pilot of The Mary Alice and his jacket today which is on display at Duxford. I had one made up like this to honor him and his crew !
There is always a great story behind every A-2 or Nose Art on WW II bombers and fighters. Lets see some of yours on display here. The UK and Duxford is always a great place to see them on display. This art from of course is the subject of many books and stories on this fine fourm over the years …one of my favorite topics !!!!

No jackets, but I have bought a couple of nose art panels from http://www.farlamairframes.co.uk/
They recreate nose art on small aircraft scraps that are the same type as the nose art was originally from.
I have no interest in the business, but just enjoy the product. If the mods think this is inappropriate then please remove.
