Lets start a novel together!

Hi Gents,
I am not plugging my new novel here that is out over the next few months (although I will be asking the moderators permission closer to the time to see if I can tell you chaps in detail about it, as it is aviation based.) However, I now have a pretty good understanding on how the publishing world works. With this thread, I am not suggesting that we sit down and all contribute to a new novel, but would it work if we started a thread and maybe, just maybe, it might develop into something that has a slight chance of being published?
If you fellow members show some enthusiasm and think it may work then lets do it (I will not be offended if the moderators shut this thread down for being a crazy idea.)
I would suggest that any memeber can add to it, be it a few lines or a couple of paragraphs. Although this forum is ‘non aviation’ I would suggest that I could start it off on the avaition theme and we can see where it goes. If I get a bit of positive feedback for this then I will start the ball rolling.
