A truly remarkable and courageous Lady.I have not read ‘The Forgotten Pilots’ but I will now. There was a programme on a satellite channel this week about women at war that highlighted the conditions that the Women of the ATA had to endure.

A great lady. I recently reread ‘The Forgotten Pilots’ for the 3rd or 4th time. Always a great read. Sadly missed.
