I loved TWA and was wondering if the LGW-St Louis route had been maintained by American or taken over by another carrier. I do hope the route is still in continuance as I think that a large US City like St Louis should be served non-stop from London.
I loved the old 762s TW used on their sole remaining UK route before their demise!

No direct flights as stated…We are starting to re-build our international flights slowly and hope to see a carrier serve Europe direct in the near future…As it stands, AAL has flights to a couple cities in Mexico. F9 will add some to the Caribeen. AA sure screwed up travel out of STL that is for sure!

St Louis was a TWA hub, it was scrapped as a hub when American Gobbled them up

Yes, it was a good route danairboy.
A friend of mine used it nearly 10yrs ago he says, and is sure it was on an old 747 classic (possible a 100?) at some point.
AA did carry it on for a while you know, didn’t realise they scrapped it!
