Just noticed in the latest ‘Aviation Letter’ that Lufthansa will put an A380 onto the FRA-JFK flight from February 18th; good news for us dot-spotters who can see them over London from the office window.
A bit more here;

This isn’t a spotters site as such, so please don’t post logs, etc.
We’d soon be swamped with them, to the utter dismay of non-spotters.
Thanks

That will be good to see overhead :D. Just in the last 2 days while working trains passed heathrow ive seen a LH Md11, LH 747-400 and a LH A340 overhead at 29000ft 🙂

It’s at Duxford, actually…however with clear skies, Flightradar24 and a pair of Canon 18×50 IS binoculars it’s a doddle 🙂

Where is your London office window, Mr Bograt? Mine is in South Croydon atop a steep hill and I have a ringside view of approaching aircraft.
I’ll never forget watching the three Concordes come in for their final flight in 2003 nor the first-ever visit to London of a prototype A380.
