I dont blame you for the watermarks but would just make better picture if they were on the body of the aircraft.
From a viewers perspective I agree entirely, but the whole point of the watermark being there is that it can’t be removed. As I say, personally I put mine a little more out of the way, but each to their own. I should probably use watermarks more like Ians in all truth!

A380 was from the footy field. Qatar was from Esso. Had the full day there. If theres some good wx over the next couple of days I may venture back but I think the forecast is not great
As for Watermarks creation, I have a action in photoshop that auto inserts it for me, just a text layer that is then flattened onto the background.

Talking of watermarks, how does one put a watermark on a picture without affecting the quality of it?
Fantastic photos there, love the first EK A380 shot, whereabouts were you stood when you took this?

I used to hate watermarks, but to be honest they need to be there really. I do put mine in the corner as unobtrusively as possible but I really can’t blame Ian for using the ones he does.
Indeed not.
I’ve had a couple of my own shots – ahem – “borrowed” in the past, so it can happen to any of us!
Lovely stuff, Ian. 🙂

All brilliant pics, very clean and sharp. The watermark on the aircraft spoils them a bit though, could you not have put it on the sky area?
