For anyone familiar with the buses around Heathrow Airport..
I need to get a bus from Jurys Inn (Eastern Perimeter Road) to the central bus station, which buses would I be looking for? Also, do they run before 6am?
Thanks!

I’m not staying there. I’m parking up at BAA staff car park E, and its apparently next to the Jury’s Inn, so I used that as an example 🙂
Which company are going to be working for A330-300? (PM me if you’d rather not tell everyone!;))
I am pretty sure that BAA staff car parks have their own bus services to/from the terminals…well at least the one I use does, and that is not all that far from Hatton Cross as well, so I can’t see why it would be different anywhere else?

Envoy Avenue is the stop opposite the Jurys Inn – saves walking to to Hatton Cross – and indeed the 285 or any other bus to the airport will do and is free.
Jury’s Inn isn’t that bad – it has the redeeming quality of being fairly cheap compared to most other hotels within very close proximity of LHR.

To be fair, CKing, the Jury’s Inn isn’t all that bad. Myself and forum geek Adam Spalding spent a night there last year and it was OK.
A romantic night in the Jurys cannot compare with three seperate weeks on your own looking at your course notes and thinking about opening them.!:D
Ahhh hang on a second though… We were drinking really rather a lot. That could explain it!
Drink is the answer, drink to forget
That said, I remember one of the corridors was a real mess… After we had an ice fight down there at 1am while drunk… 😀
Yes you woke me up!!!!

Assuming you’re staying at the Jury’s Inn at Heathrow then it’s literally over the road from Hatton Cross station. A 3 minute walk door to door, maximum. 😉

The service originates elsewhere and stops at various places, but Hatton Cross is right next to the Jury’s Inn so it’s the logical place to get it from. It’s fairly direct to Heathrow Central from there.

P.S. You actually created this thread in the hope you’d have an appropriate moment to use the line “don’t wanna be late for work”, didn’t you? 😉
Ahh right, someone told me Hatton Cross was a 20min walk from the hotel.
lol I have no idea what you mean!

THE JURYS INN!!!!!! Are you staying there long? I spent three seperate weeks there whilst on a course at LHR. IT’S AWFUL!!!!!! Like I imagine a prison cell would feel like.
The most important info is.
Come out of the hotel.
Turn right along the Duel carridge way
Walk towards Hatton Cross
When you get to the traffic lights cross the duel carridge way, away from Hatton Cross
That road then leads away from Hatton Cross and bears left, follow it
On your left is THE GREEN MAN!!!!!!
Enter it and drink enough to dull the memory of the grim hole, The Jurys inn!!!!!

If you wander to Hatton Cross station (2 minutes walk from the Jury’s Inn) and get the 285 to Heathrow Central it’s free, and they run every half hour before 6am. 🙂
Paul
Does it only stop at Hatton Cross Station? Dont’ wanna be late for work!
Thanks for the info, much appreciated 🙂
