Scanning old negs and came across these taken from a Vanguard ( as can be seen from the shadow) on take off from LHR in early 70s. Interesting selection Olympic Comet, Air France Viscount, Eagle Brits, even an Argonaut !

Well spotted, doesn’t time fly ! When I check it appears that the photos were taken from G-APEL on 14-4-68 and the Air France Viscount was in fact G-AMOC returning to Cambrian off lease to Air France. I have posted photos of the Argonaut, taken shortly before it left for the fire dump, in the “Know your Airliners” thread.

Thanks for those
Air France Viscount and British Eagle Britannia must be 1968 or before.
The Canadair Four was a BOAC Apprentice triner replaced by a Comet 4 in about 1970. The Canadair was then transferred to the fire dump
