Sorry, new to the site and didn’t realise you all wanted in depth information,
for starters i flew with united airlines, as i always do, i have an air mile card, so the more i fly the more i get,
what other information would you like ????

My apologies if my earlier response seemed a little harsh. It does tend to be the way here that when people post a trip report, it does go into a bit of detail, although this detail can really be whatever you like. Many people go into the details of the flight itself, how the food was, etc. I tend to concentrate on the places I’m actually travelling to and what they were like. To all intents and purposes a flight is just a flight to me. I enjoy flying greatly, but unless there’s something unusual about the flight itself I tend not to go into too much detail about it.

Hope that clears it up a little, and welcome to the forums!

I suggest you read this report of a trip from Iran to Venezuela this year. A fascinating read and I don’t suggest you go to this length, but check out other trip reports on our Forum for typical reports.:)

I happen to find the longer ones more exciting.

Your simple version seems a little too simple. You haven’t even told us which airline you flew with.

I have to agree. Surely a ‘report’, by definition, should include a little more than one sentence that essentially says nothing more than “hey look! I’ve been to America!”

A brief simplified trip report, not a 10 page boring essay
