Was up in Windsor today giving my Sister a lift. As I was in the area decided I might as well stay up that way and spen the day at LHR 😀 First time here with my new camera. mixed results, largely due to the typical English April weather, and the light changing dramatically every 5 minutes
Pictures are in reg order, so starting with Pakistan (AP) and going down to India (VT)

Nice shots, it’s a shame you didn’t capture the full fuselage shot of the beautiful Varig MD11

Thanks everyone. There is ANOTHER 767 with a screwed up tail, this time with an all white rudder instead of an offset Union Flag one
What is the Reg of it?? I happened to look up on the train on my way back from London and there it was.

Well done on those Mark, nice ones. I see you’ve pretty much got to grips with the Z10 now. Great camera when it wants to be, isn’t it 😀 :p

G-EUXF had to have a new nose cone after it took out a goose on the way into LHR a couple of weeks ago. Apparently it made a bit of a mess of the cone, but the bird came off worst. RIP.
The rudders are a problem because all of the tail logos are slightly different, so if you swap them between aircraft they don’t match. You often see the same thing on the nose cone where the top of the blue paint doesn’t match.
The number of swaps, rather than changes for new White ones, has increased due to the ongoing problems with the new engineering system. Although the cone on XF and the rudder on one of the 767s suggest things are improving there.
Either way, swaps or new White, they dont get re-done to match until they are in the hangar for other work, down time can’t be justified purely for a paint or transfer job. This was one of the reasons the aircraft allocated for the Blue Peter designs was changed at the last minute.
