Just 3 for now, cannot be bother to edit anymore tonight! A long day at LHR today, great Wx and good aircraft! Shooting through the fence is not an easy feat! Focus,no focus, no focus, no focus, focus, no focus, no focus!!!

I think I cropped the DHL a little bit to much for some sites to accept as teh angle on the aircraft just doesn’t fit the photo dimensions. shame as its rare to see a DHL in daylight!

Aye all these were with the 100-400 IS L. I also shoot with the 70-200 IS L F2.8, now thats one super sharp lens. I’d use that all the time but for these shots you need 300-400mm . Infact 400mm sometimes isn’t enough. Shooting through the fence means the “keepers” rate is very much reduced.

I might be up at MAN Sunday morn….

What mm lense do you need for those kind of shot’s?

I think Ian uses an EF 100-400L IS…
