Have just got my copy of the December issue of Today’s Pilot, a fantastic magazine if you ever get a chance to read it, and there’s a great article about the B17 Liberty Belle written by Steve Bridgewater. In the article the aircraft’s owner talks of his plans to bring the aircraft to the UK if he can get sponsorship. That’d be great if it happened!
Also, didn’t realise the owner was also one of the people behind getting the P38 Glacier Girl out from under the ice until I read it in this article. It does talk about “the late Roy Schoffner” though…. has he died?

Yes, Roy, whom I had the pleasure of meeting in 2003 beside “Glacier Girl”, died recently.
